The event featured a Bison’s game at Dunn Tire Park and included food, prizes and an autograph session with Sabretooth and Buffalo Sabres forward Pat Kaleta.

"Everyone had a great time at our annual Sabrekidz Picnic," commented Rich Jureller, Manager of Community Development. "The kids really enjoyed the opportunity to meet Pat Kaleta and Sabretooth, as well as, catch a double header of Bisons baseball.  It was great to see all of the family members that joined in on the fun too."

The SabreKidz Club, created during the 2003-04 season, was designed to foster the love of hockey in the youngest generation of Sabres fans. The only official kids club of the Buffalo Sabres consists of boys and girls ages 12 and under. Members receive exclusive benefits such as SabreKidz merchandise, invitations to SabreKidz Club special events, a membership ID card and much more.
