Editor's Note: The following is a portion of Lindy Ruff's interview Sunday afternoon as he addressed the media at the Honda Center in Anaheim. The Buffalo Sabres Head Coach discusses injuries and what the lineup will look like Monday night when they take on the Ducks.]Has there been any change with [the schedule] of having Ryan [Miller] or Patrick [Lalime] in net [Monday night against Anaheim]?
"No nothing changes. We’re going to stay with the plan. We have to get Patrick his games and we want to get Ryan his rest. It is still a demanding test for us and we’ve got a tough trip coming back. We’ll get a little rest for Ryan on the way home."
Do you have an idea if Jaro [Spacek] will be able to go tomorrow?
"It doesn’t look like it, no, that Jochen [Hecht] or Jaro will be able to play."
Will you call someone up?
"Yeah it looks like it."
I saw Mike Weber did play in the last game [for the AHL Portland Pirates].
"Yeah, I don’t know if that has been confirmed yet or not but he would be the choice. So that will be a decision we will have to make."
Adam [Mair] skated, what is his status?
"I think he’s good to go. He got a good skate in yesterday and got a good skate in today so he’s available. And Andrew [Peters] is available, so we have lots of bodies."
* Miller has played the last seven contests for Buffalo, compiling a 5-2 record in that stretch... Lalime has won six contests in nine career appearances against the Ducks, earning a .916 save percentage.
*Spacek suffered a hip injury in the first period of Buffalo's 2-0 win against the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday, leaving the Sabres with only five healthy defensemen. Henrik Tallinder [shoulder], Andrej Sekera [ankle] and Teppo Numminen [jaw] remain out of the lineup.
*Hecht suffered an undisclosed injury in the first period of Saturday's win in Phoenix.
*Weber has played 18 career games for the Sabres, earning three assists and a plus-10 rating... the defenseman has missed nearly three weeks for the Pirates after undergoing knee surgery in January. He returned to the lineup Friday night for a 4-2 win against the Providence Bruins, adding an empty net goal in the effort.
*Mair has missed the last two contests with a leg injury.
