The Buffalo Sabres today announced they will be holding an online auction of game-worn home and away jerseys from the first half of the 2011-12 season, including a set of jerseys worn during the team’s October 8 game against the Los Angeles Kings in Berlin.
The auction will begin Thursday, January 26 at 5 p.m., and will conclude at 9 p.m. on Monday, February 6. Fans can access the auction by logging onto the auction section of NHL.com.
Each jersey will come with a certificate of authenticity and the jerseys worn during the October 8 game against Los Angeles will also come with the 2011 NHL Premiere Series patch. All proceeds from the auction will directly benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.
