The Buffalo Sabres Road Crew made its final tour stop of the season on Monday night as roughly 200 Sabres fans gathered at McFadden’s Restaurant & Saloon in midtown Manhattan.
Those in attendance got the chance to meet the Sabres' management, coaching staff and broadcast crew as Darcy Regier, Lindy Ruff and his assistant coaches, Rick Jeanneret, Harry Neale and Rob Ray all showed up to greet the fans. Ruff also addressed the crowd to thank them for their support.
The fans also received an unexpected surprise as new owner Terry Pegula and team president Ted Black made an appearance at the gathering and spent the evening meeting and talking with the Sabres’ supporters.
The final tour stop of the season featured food and drink specials throughout the night as well as giveaways of autographed Sabres memorabilia.
