MSG Networks will broadcast 74 regular season games and one preseason game (Sept. 28 vs. Ottawa), including 40 of the team's 41 road contests. In addition, the Sabres will appear twice on Outdoor Life Network's (OLN) new national broadcast schedule: Monday October 10 vs. Pittsburgh, and Tuesday, March 14 at Washington. This season, Sabres fans will be able to watch 76 of the team's 82 regular season games.
Rick Jeanneret and Jim Lorentz return to call the action for all MSG telecasts. Currently the longest-tenured broadcaster in hockey, the 2005-06 season marks Jeanneret's 34th year with the Sabres. Lorentz has been part of the Sabres broadcast crew since the 1992-93 season.
Buffalo Sabres hockey on MSG is directed by Eric Grossman and produced by Joe Pinter.
Radio coverage of all 82 regular season Sabres games will be simulcast by Sports Radio WGR AM 550.
