Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier today announced that the Sabres have acquired a fifth-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft from the Florida Panthers in exchange for defenseman TJ Brennan.

The draft pick, which originally belonged to the New Jersey Devils, was previously acquired by the Panthers in a trade with the Los Angeles Kings.

The 23-year-old Brennan had two goals in 21 career games with Buffalo, including one in 10 games this season.
