The Red Wings are coming off a big win Thursday night as Petr Mrazek shutout the Colorado Avalanche 3-0. Detroit's top-ranked power play has been a huge reason why the team has been so successful, the Wings have 47 power play goals in 182 opportunities  (25.8%).

Tonight the Red Wings will continue their road trip in Glendale, as they square off with the Coyotes for the first time this season. Detroit will seek revenge as they were swept by Arizona last season, losing 4-2 at home and 5-2 at Gila River Arena. Coach Mike Babcock plans to use the same lineup, which means Mrazek will make his tenth consecutive start. “He’s been very impressive in obviously a very tough situation for us when both Monster and Howie went down,” Henrik Zetterberg said. “Petr comes up and basically comes in and plays unbelievable right from the first start. He really kept it going."
