Tonight, Detroit travels to the Mile High City to face-off against their old rivals of the Western Conference, the Colorado Avalanche. This will be the second and final time these two teams will square-off this year, with Jarome Iginla having scored in the top half of the ninth round to give the Avs a 2-1 shootout win at Joe Louis Arena on New Years Eve. Detroit, which hasn't played a game since beating the New York Islanders 4-1 on Saturday, are 8-2 in their past ten games and are in a tight race for first in the Atlantic Division.  Henrik Zetterberg returned to center the top line in practice Wednesday in Denver after staying off the ice for a maintenance day Tuesday. Coach Mike Babcock said goalie Petr Mrazek will start. Goalie Jonas Gustavsson, who's been out since Nov. 7 with a shoulder injury, will join them in Denver. GoalieJimmy Howard (groin) hopes to return against the Pittsburgh Penguins next Wednesday.
