DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings have earned the top rating among all National Hockey League teams in customer service satisfaction among season ticket holders, according to the annual NHL survey, “Surveyor Network,” conducted through Turnkey Intelligence.
“Earning the top customer service satisfaction ranking from our season ticket holders is a testament to the hard work put forth by our entire staff,” said Tom Wilson, President and CEO of Olympia Entertainment. “Every staff member, including our ushers, concession staff, security personnel, guest service representatives, volunteers and full-time employees, play a part in making the game-night experience memorable. We look forward to continuing our commitment to providing an excellent and memorable experience for our fans as we celebrate the ‘Farewell Season at The Joe’ and excitement builds for the opening of Little Caesars Arena.”
In comparison to the league average of 8.7, the Red Wings earned the top rating of 9.4 in customer service satisfaction among season ticket holders. Currently, 95 percent of full season ticket holders from the 2015-16 season have renewed for the upcoming 2016-17 season.
In addition to ranking No. 1 in customer service satisfaction, the Red Wings also ranked in the top five in three other categories on the Season Ticket Member Scorecard, including overall satisfaction, renewal intent and experience vs. expectations.
The NHL’s “Surveyor Network” poll conducts two online polls throughout the season to evaluate all aspects of the fan experience.
With eight full-time staff members, the Red Wings Ticket Service Department works to provide and enhance the advantages of being a season ticket holder, such as convenient payment plans, savings off box office prices, priority access to seating locations, access to ticket presales, invitations to exclusive season ticket holder events and much more.
The Ticket Service Department is currently in the process of hosting VIP tours through the state-of-the-art District Detroit Preview Center for more than 3,500 full season ticket holders to aid in the reseating experience for Little Caesars Arena.
Committed to creating memorable sports and entertainment experiences, Olympia Entertainment and the Red Wings established the “Guest Connect” program to focus on the guest experience by engaging employees in all departments and levels, full-time, part-time and volunteers, to deliver exceptional service in the form of responsiveness, helpfulness, sincere interest, assurance and empathy. To ensure each guest experience is memorable and positive, Olympia Entertainment and Red Wings staff members undergo a training program dedicated to educating, developing and recognizing first-class guest service.
