1985: Reed Larson becomes the first Detroit defenseman to record five points (three goals and two assists) in one game as the Wings beat Vancouver 11-5.



2009: Playing in career game No. 1,000, forward Kirk Maltby was a plus-1 in more than 10-minutes of ice time in the Wings' 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings at Joe Louis Arena.
