Kronwall back in line-up; Quincey re-assigned

DETROIT -- The Red Wings today announced that defenseman Niklas Kronwall has been activated from the injured reserve list while defenseman Kyle Quincey was assigned to the Wings’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Griffins.


Kronwall suffered a sternoclavicular (SC) sprain on January 30th vs. Phoenix and has missed 13 games.  For the season, Kronwall has appeared in 48 games tallying five goals and 20 assists for 25 points and a +16.

The Wings host the San Jose Sharks on Friday, Feb. 29, 7:30 pm, at Joe Louis Arena.  Tickets for all remaining games throughout the regular season are currently on sale at $22, $44 and $54 at the Joe Louis Arena box office, all Ticketmaster locations including The Hockeytown Cafe, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy, or charge by phone at 248-645-6666.  Fans also can purchase tickets by logging on to DetroitRedWings.com.
