Olympia Entertainment provides food and beverage service to all Executive Suites from a specially designed menu, which is located in your Suite and available upon request. OEI is very proud of its In-House Hospitality Department. If you require any specialty items, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate your needs.
Those who are not authorized to sign for food and beverage charges on the credit card on file must pay by company check, American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Diner's Club or cash. Please note, for internal control purposes, cash will not be accepted for beverage orders.
Food and Beverage Pre-Orders
Food and beverage orders must be place 48 hours before each event by calling our Executive Suites Department at (313) 396-7472, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Food and beverage orders may also be faxed to (313) 396-7990 or e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will receive a confirmation call or email letting you know we received your order. If you do not receive a confirmation call within two business hours, please contact us to ensure we received the fax or email. If an event falls on a Saturday or Sunday, we ask that the Suite food and beverage orders be place 72 hours prior to the event. In order to ensure the quality service you expect, we ask that every Suiteholder place their food order at least 48 hours in advance.
In an emergency, food orders can be placed by calling (313) 394-7388 or (313) 394-7387 two hours prior to an event and throughout the event. All orders received after 12:00 noon on an event day will be consider ASAP orders and delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
During an event, additional food and beverage orders may be place by using the house phones located in your Suite. Please note that placing a food order during an event may require a 20-40 minute preparation time. Food orders may be placed up to the end of the 2nd period of the Detroit Red Wings hockey games, and up to the end of the first intermission for concerts and family shows. Beverage and pizza orders may be placed until the end of an event.
Olympia Entertainment stocks a large variety of soda, wine, beer and liquor to meet your entertainment needs. Although the importing of outside beverage is not allowed, a Manager can arrange to have specialty items on hand for your enjoyment. The Executive Suites Department will also provide ice, disposable cups and cocktail napkins during an event. Olympia Entertainment and the Detroit Red Wings reserve the right to refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any individual at any time, including those who show signs of intoxication and / or under the legal drinking age.
Automatic gratuities in the following amounts will be added to all orders: Food:18% Beverage:18% Dessert Cart: 18% Pizza 18% (Additional gratuities are at your discretion.)
Outside Food and Beverages
Bringing any food or beverages into Joe Louis Arena is strictly prohibited. Any beverages to be consumed in the Suites must be obtained from OEI and may not be removed from the building. Food served in the Suite may be removed in to-go containers that are provided by the Executive Suites Department.
