by Staff Writer / Detroit Red Wings
DETROIT -- Detroit Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk suffered a lower body injury late in last night's 2-1 shootout victory over Calgary.

Datsyuk is expected to be out of the lineup a minimum of 7-10 days and will be re-evaluated at that time. Datsyuk currently leads the Red Wings with 87 points in 75 contests (28-59--87, +26).

The Red Wings, who have clinched the Central Division title for the fifth consecutive year, currently lead the NHL with a record of 52-15-8 and 112 points. The Wings' victory at Calgary set a club record at nine consecutive road wins and tied an NHL record for road wins in a season at 28 (New Jersey, 1998-99).

Detroit has three road games remaining. Detroit has now qualified for the Stanley Cup Playoffs for a league-leading 15 consecutive seasons.
