Babcock leads stars in Olympic torch relay

On Nov. 4, the City of Windsor, Ontario, with RBC and Coca Cola, title sponsors for the Canadian Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay, will officially announce the torchbearer who will light the cauldron at the Windsor Community Celebration on Day 55 (Dec. 23) in an evening festival from 6-8 p.m. EST.

Featured keynote speaker for the announcement will be Red Wings and Olympic Canadian men's team coach Mike Babcock.
WHAT: Official announcement of the Windsor Torchbearer who will run the final 300-meters to light the cauldron on stage on Dec. 23.
WHERE: Caesars Windsor, Augustus Ballroom. Second level to the left off the escalator of the new Caesars Tower, 377 Riverside Drive East, Windsor.
WHEN: Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 7:45 p.m. EST.
WHO: Greetings from Windsor  Mayor Eddie Francis; Adam Graves, former NHL player and former Windsor Spitfire; Bob Boughner, coach and president of the Windsor Spitfires; Ray Grassi, Paralympian, 2010 Canadian sledge hockey team, Gold Medalist; Mike Babcock, coach, Red Wings and the 2010 Canadian men's ice hockey team.
