The Hartford Wolf Pack will be highly visible this Saturday, September 29, as groups of players sign autographs at two different locations.
At Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester, selected Wolf Pack players, and Sonar the mascot, will be meeting and greeting fans from noon to 2:00 PM. This will take place in Center Court of the mall, and fans will receive (while supplies last) free gifts and coupons for 10% discounts at Pack Shop 2 (located on the second floor of the mall, across from Structure). WCCC-FM will be playing music and distributing prizes.
Also, fans can meet Wolf Pack veterans Ken Gernander and Terry Virtue, and Wolf Pack promotions host and WTIC-FM air personality Damon Scott, at the Filene’s store at West Farms Mall in West Hartford. Members of the Pack will conduct an autograph session there from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday.
These appearances are part of an ongoing effort on the part of the Wolf Pack to give as many fans as possible a chance to meet and talk with those NHL prospects that they see on the ice at the Hartford Civic Center. This big day on Saturday wraps up a summer filled with charitable endeavors, appearances and promotions around the state, with players, Sonar and staff.
The Wolf Pack open their 2001-2002 season Saturday, October 6th in Albany against the River Rats (7:00 faceoff). The home opener at the Hartford Civic Center is scheduled for Saturday, October 13th (7:05 faceoff), against the new Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Wolf Pack season-ticket, multi-game, coupon book, group-discount packages, and single-game tickets, are all currently on sale.
