Today is June 14, 2009, the 15th anniversary of the New York Rangers' remarkable run to the 1994 Stanley Cup championship.
We know how much this date means to Rangers fans across the hockey world, particularly those who experienced it. Today, we invite those fans who remember exactly where they were when time ran out in Game 7 of the 1994 Cup Finals to relate their stories here.
If you were lucky enough to be in the arena that night, tell us as much as you remember about those final seconds and the celebration that followed. What were you thinking, whom were you sharing the moment with, and how did you express your emotions?
If you were anywhere outside the arena, tell us where you were, what went through your mind and how you and others around you reacted to the realization that "the waiting was over"? The more detail you can offer the better.
This was a remarkable moment for all Rangers fans -- and hockey fans -- who experienced it, so we suspect there are some great stories out there. Share them with us in the space below. We'll run a selection of them on this site on Monday.
