HARTFORD WOLF PACK:
The Wolf Pack complete a stretch of seven straight road games this week with three Atlantic Division contests. With a regulation win in Wednesday's game at Manchester, the Pack would move into a first-place tie with the Monarchs.

Steve MacIntyre notched his first career AHL points, and his first-ever multiple-point game as a pro, with a goal and an assist in the second period of Saturday's 6-1 win at Hershey. The Pack's five goals in the second frame of that contest tied a franchise record. After Wednesday's 1-0 shootout victory in Norfolk, the Wolf Pack have triumphed in seven consecutive shootouts, after losing two of their first three. Steve Valiquette's scoreless streak came to an end at 221:50 when he surrendered a goal to Philadelphia's Ben Stafford at 1:26 of the first period of a 5-1 loss Friday night in Philadelphia.

On the All-Star front, the Hartford Wolf Pack figure front and center in voting for the Canadian Team in the 2005 Dodge AHL All-Star Classic. Goaltender Jason LaBarbera and defenseman Lawrence Nycholat have been named starters for the game that will take place in Manchester, New Hampshire on February 14. The Wolf Pack is the only team to put two starters in the Canadian lineup, which was determined by fan vote.

CHARLOTTE CHECKERS:
The Charlotte Checkers entered Friday's contest with the South Carolina Stingrays having won every home game of the new year. The Stingrays had won nine straight. In three physical periods, the Rays came out stinging, winning 4-1 against Charlotte. The Checkers next home game on Saturday vs. the Columbia Inferno was postponed due to inclement weather. Currently, the Checkers sit in first place in the East Division with a 24-15-2 record. Charlotte continues their four-game homestand with games on Friday (Florence) and Saturday (Dayton).

WESTERN HOCKEY LEAGUE:
Zdenek Bahensky (Saskatoon) - Registered 12 goals and 13 assists for 25 points along with 64 penalty minutes in 47 games...Four of his goals are short-handed goals...The Blades are 13-5-0 when he registers a point...Tied for seventh in points scored by rookies in the WHL with 25 points (twelve goals, 13 assists)...Ranks second on the team with four short-handed goals and sixth on the team with twelve goals...Tied for second in the WHL with four short-handed goals.

Roman Psurny (Medicine Hat) - Has skated in 50 games, notching 35 points (16 goals, 19 assists) and 51 penalty minutes. Among WHL rookies, ranks third in scoring with 35 points, tied for second with 16 goals and third with a +17 rating. Ranks' tied for fourth in scoring on his team with 35 points (16 goals, 19 assists).

Rick Kozak (Kamloops) - Currently has a three game point streak from Jan.22 to Jan. 30 (0-5-5)...Has registered eleven goals and eight assists for nineteen points, along with 98 penalty minutes in 33 games for Prince Albert. Named 2nd star of the game on Jan. 19 vs. Moose Jaw (3-1). Named 3rd star of the game on Jan. 22. @ Moose Jaw (W 3-0).

Brandon Dubinsky (Portland) - Named the third star of the game on Jan. 28 (W 4-2) against Everett and on Jan. 29 against Tri-City (W 2-1)...Has registered 17 goals and 27 assists for 44 points, along with 110 penalty minutes in 48 games. On Portland, he ranks tied for third in goals (17), tied for second in assists (27), tied for second in points (44) and third in penalty minutes (110).

Nigel Dawes (Kootenay) - Named 1st star on Jan 29 against Medicine Hat (W 3-1)... Registered a seven-game point streak from Jan. 7 to Jan. 22, scoring 11 points (6 goals, 5 assists)...Has registered 26 goals and seventeen assists for 43 points, along with 26 penalty minutes in 42 games...Is first place in all-time goals (140)...Is the all-time franchise leader in career game winning goals (26)...Tied for 8th in the WHL with 26 goals and first with 10 game-winning goals...Ranks first on his team with team with 26 goals and twelve power play goals...Ranks first on his team with 43 points.

Marcus Jonasen (Tri-City) - Has registered 14 goals and 13 assists for 27 points, along with 45 penalty minutes in 47 games...Ranks tied for second on the team with 14 goals and is fifth on the club with 27 points.

ONTARIO HOCKEY LEAGUE:
Ryan Callahan (Guelph) - Has had two 3-point games amidst his 5 multi-point games since returning from the WJC...Named 2nd star last Sunday (1/23) for his 2-goal / 1 assist performance in a 4-2 win over Kingston ...Has registered 22 goals and 20 assists for 42 points, along with 63 penalty minutes in 42 games...Leads club in goals (22) and points (42).

Jakub Petruzalek (Ottawa) - Recorded a goal and an assist in his last two outings...Has registered 18 goals and 31 assists for 49 points, along with 40 penalty minutes in 41 games....Has 8 multi-assist games...Has 13 multi-point games...Has two multi-goal games.

QUEBEC MAJOR JUNIOR HOCKEY LEAGUE:
Jonathan Paiement (Lewiston) - Currently has a 4-game point streak (2 goals; 2 assists)...Has registered 7 goals and 38 assists for 45 points, along with 132 penalty minutes in 47 games...Has posted 10 multi-point games...Has ten multi-assist games including four games with three assists... Ranks second among all QMJHL defensemen with 38 assists and fourth with 45 points... Ranks sixth in the QMJHL with 38 assists... Al Montoya (Michigan) - Montoya was named 3rd star of the game this past Saturday, Jan. 29, in a 3-1 win over Northern Michigan when he turned aside 19 of 20 shots...In 24 games has a record of 19-6-1, along with a goals against average of 2.73 and save percentage of .894...He ranks 9th in the CCHA with a 2.73 GAA, first with 19 wins, seventh with 588 saves...ontoya is 10-2-0 since the beginning of December...Michigan is ranked #4 in the country.

Chris Holt (Nebraska-Omaha) - Split last weekend's series against Miami (Ohio) and stopped 35 shots in a 4-2 loss, his first loss in 6 appearances at the time...Named 1st star on Jan. 28 against Wayne State after stopping 32 of 34 shots in a 3-2 victory...Appeared in 25 games, posting a 14-9-2 record along with a 2.64 goals against average and a .912 save percentage ... He ranks second in the CCHA with 666 saves and 6th in the league with a 2.59 GAA...Had a record of 6-1-1 in the month of January with a GAA of 1.63 and a Save % of .948

EUROPE:
Henrik Lundqvist (Sweden) - Lundqvist is 9-1-1 in his last 11 appearances in goal including his latest 3-0 shutout of Modo on Jan. 29 when he stopped all 31 shots he faced...Was unbeaten in the month of January with a record of 8-0-1, a Save % of .952, and a GAA of 1.33...Ranks among the Swedish Elite league goaltending leaders in several categories, including saves ( 945, third), save percentage (.936, first), wins (28, first), goal against average (1.76, first), shutouts (5, first) and minutes played (2213:09, second)....17 of his victories have come while allowing one goal or less... ...Frolunda has a 28-7-6 record and sole position of first place in the Swedish Elite League...
