Graham Powers Moncton, 5-1; Wildcats Sit Atop QMJHL's East
Bruce Graham continued his impressive play in 2004-05, netting a goal and two assists as the Moncton Wildcats earned a 5-1 win over Acadie-Bathhurst on Tuesday. Graham, named the 1st star of the game, has now posted two goals and three assists in his last two games as Moncton improved to 14-4-1 on the season - tops in the QMJHL Eastern Division.

The 6-6, 235-pound center ranks second on the team with 11 goals and third with 18 points in 19 games. Graham is also tied for second on the club with two game-winning goals and has posted a +7 rating on the season.

Psurny Scores; Medicine Hat Routs Vancouver, 5-1
Roman Psurny netted his fifth goal in the last nine games to help lead the Medicine Hat Tigers to a 5-1 rout over the Vancouver Giants in WHL action on Tuesday. Medicine Hat is now unbeaten (8-0-1) in its last nine games.

Psurny, a fifth round draft chocie by the Rangers in 2004, has now posted nine points (five goals, four assists) over the Tigers' nine-game unbeaten streak. He is tied for third on the team and second among WHL rookies with 14 points (six goals, eight assists) in 14 games. Tied with Psurny among rookie scorers is fellow Czech countryman and 2004 Blueshirt draft choice Zdenek Bahensky, who has posted identical numbers in 15 games with the Saskatoon Blades.

Marek, Prucha Square Off in Czech League Tilt
Jan Marek collected an assist but Petr Prucha and Moeller Pardubice skated past Sparta Praha, 4-2, in Czech Republic Extraleague play on Tuesday.

The loss marked Sparta Praha's third of the season and still rank second in the league with a 15-3-2 record through 20 games.

Marek has skated in 13 games, notching eight points (one goal, seven assists) and 10 penalty minutes, while Prucha has recorded three assists in 20 games this season.
