The Hartford Wolf Pack, the Rangers' American Hockey League affiliate, fell to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 4-0 on Wednesday night at the Hartford Civic Center. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton scored three times in the third period and got two of its goals from Erik Christensen, as the Eastern Conference-leading Penguins improved to 10-2-0. The Pack had a rough night on the power play, going 0-for-9, and could not put the puck past goalie Andrew Penner despite firing 31 shots on goal. Al Montoya kept Hartford in the game with 32 saves. In addition, four Rangers prospects competed in regular-season games in the OHL and WHL on Wednesday. Here is a summary of their performances:

It was another big night for Sanguinetti, the Rangers' 2006 first-round draft pick, who scored two goals -- including the game-winner -- to earn No. 1 star honors. He opened the scoring with an unassisted power play goal at 13:35 of the first period and then tallied with 8:11 remaining in the third period to give the Attack a 5-4 lead. He did not take any penalties and finished the game with a plus-2 rating.

Nov. 8: Medicine Hat 4, Prince Albert 3 (SO) (at Medicine Hat)

It was a three-point game for Zeliska, as the 2006 draft pick recorded three assists to lead a Prince Albert comeback. He had the primary assist on the Raiders' first goal, scored by A.J. Thelen on a power play at 8:06 of the second period to cut the Tigers' lead to 3-1. He then assisted on another power play goal scored by Ryan DePape at 1:21 of the third to make it 3-2. He closed out his big night with the second assist on the game-tying goal by Matt Robertson with 26 seconds left in the game. Zeliska, who was plus-1 for the evening, did not participate in the shootout.

Flatt scored his third goal of the season at 16:24 of the second period, pulling Owen Sound into a 3-3 tie. With three goals, Flatt, who now has two more than his previous single-season high, also tied for his team lead with a plus-3 rating.

Dupont's Scoring to Date: 20 games, 12 goals, 10 assists, 57 PIM
Nov. 8: Lethbridge 5, Calgary 1 (at Calgary)

Dupont had the primary assist on Calgary's lone goal, scored by Ryan White at 14:09 of the third period. The goal cut Lethbridge's lead at the time to 3-1. Dupont was also given a fighting major with 39 seconds left in the game.
