The Hartford Wolf Pack, the Rangers' American Hockey League affiliate, fell to the San Antonio Rampage 3-1 on Saturday night at the AT&T Center in San Antonio. Jarkko Immonen scored the Pack's lone goal on a power play at 19:23 of the opening period. Immonen's first goal of the 2006-07 season was assisted by Daniel Girardi and pulled Hartford into a 1-1 tie. The score stood that way until late in the third period, when Yanick Lehoux notched the winner with only 3:21 remaining and the Rampage later added an empty-net goal. Al Montoya played goal for the Pack and stopped 27 of 29 shots. Despite the loss, Montoya was named the game's second star. Hartford is now 4-10-1 on the season. Graham

Visit Charlotte's official web site
The Charlotte Checkers, the Rangers' East Coast Hockey League affiliate, rolled to another win on Saturday night, beating the Gwinnett Gladiators 3-1 at home. Rangers prospect Bruce Graham, the game's No. 2 star, opened the scoring for Charlotte with his ninth goal of the season just 3:07 into the game. Fellow Rangers prospect Rick Kozak picked up the second assist, and the 1-0 lead stood until the third period, when Graham assisted on an early power-play goal by Ryan Constant to make it 2-0. Charlotte later iced the game with a third-period penalty shot. The Checkers are now 8-3-0 and only two points out of first place in the American Conference's South Division. It was a two-goal night for Hunter, the game's No. 2 star, who had his second multi-goal game in three outings. Hunter scored the Cougars' first goal of the game on a power play at 3:06 of the second period, cutting Chilliwack's lead to 2-1. He later tallied his second goal of the night at 3:45 of the third, tying the game at 3-3 before Chilliwack's Dillon Johnstone got the game-winner six minutes later.

Dupont, the game's No. 3 star, scored his 15th goal of the season just 13 seconds into the second period, tying the game at 1-1 and setting off a flood of six unanswered Calgary goals. He later had the primary assist on Ryan White's goal at 10:07 of the third period, giving the Hitmen a 4-1 lead.

Foote scored the first Michigan Tech goal at 4:32 of the second period, cutting Denver's lead at the time to 2-1. He then had the primary assist on Jimmy Kerr's power play goal at 6:00 of the second, tying the game at 2-2.

Pyatt reached the 20-goal plateau, scoring the game's first goal at 7:33 of the opening period. He also took a minor penalty in the third period and finished the night with a plus-1 rating. With 20 goals, he is only one goal off the OHL lead.

Reese scored the Crimson's first goal of the game on a 5-on-3 power play at 10:09 of the opening period, tying the score at 1-1.

Marek had the lone assist on Nikolai Kulemin's power-play goal at 8:39 of the second period. The goal gave Magnitogorsk a 2-0 lead and stood up as the game-winner in Metallurg's upset of league-leading Kazan. Marek also took a minor penalty in the first period.

Zeliska had the second assist on the Raiders' only goal, scored by Matt Robertson on a power play with 27 seconds remaining in the second period. The goal cut Brandon's lead to 2-1.
