Sanguinetti did not score any points or take any penalties as Owen Sound was blanked at home.

KoverkoTrevor Koverko
Position: Defense
Team: Oshawa Generals
League: OHL
Koverko's Scoring to Date: 35 games, 0 goals, 11 assists, 88 PIM
Jan. 1: Oshawa 6, Sudbury 3 (at Oshawa)

Koverko did not score any points and was called for one minor penalty in the Generals' win over Sudbury.

FlattDalyn Flatt
Position: Defense
Team: Owen Sound Attack
League: OHL
Flatt's Scoring to Date: 30 games, 3 goals, 3 assists, 134 PIM
Jan. 1: Plymouth 5, Owen Sound 0 (at Owen Sound)

After being a healthy scratch for two games, Flatt returned to the Owen Sound lineup. He did not score a point and was called for two minor penalties in the Attack's loss at home.

Staal missed the game because he is playing for Team Canada at the World Junior Championships.
