Rangers prospect Bruce Graham had the second assist on Charlotte's first goal, scored by Nathan Gillies at 4:35 of the opening period. Graham later came up with the primary assist on the series-winning goal, scored by Daymen Rycroft on a power play at 4:05 of overtime. Rangers goaltending prospect Chris Holt again starred in net for the Checkers, stopping 21 of 23 shots to earn No. 3 star honors as Charlotte outshot Augusta 28-23.
