Tonight’s Game
The Rangers face-off against the New York Islanders tonight at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.), in their second game of a three-game homestand. The Blueshirts currently rank third in the Atlantic Division standings, and eighth in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 18-16-3 (39 pts.). The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Florida Panthers, 4-1, on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden. The Islanders enter the contest with a 14-17-7 (35 pts.) record, and rank 12th in the Eastern Conference. Following tonight's game, the Rangers will face-off against the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.), in their first game of three in four nights.
