Tonight’s Game
The Rangers face-off against the Buffalo Sabres tonight at HSBC Arena (7:00 p.m.), in the first game of a back-to-back set. The Blueshirts currently rank fifth in the Atlantic Division standings, and 12th in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 13-13-1 (27 pts.). New York enter tonight's contest having been defeated by Pittsburgh, 5-2, on Monday at Madison Square Garden, their first loss to the Penguins at MSG since Mar. 1, 2007 (8-0-0). Buffalo enter the contest with a 15-7-2 (32 pts.) record, and rank third in the Eastern Conference. Following tonight's game, the Rangers will face-off against the Detroit Red Wings tomorrow, Dec. 6, at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.), in an Original Six match-up.
