MSG Media, 1050 ESPN Radio renew agreement for 2007-08

MSG Media and 1050 ESPN Radio have announced a multi-year agreement for 1050 to continue as the radio broadcast home of the New York Knicks and New York Rangers, beginning with the 2007-08 seasons.

"It allows two of the strongest brands in sports, MSG and ESPN, to continue to build on a relationship that has served New York sports fans, the most astute in the world, with the highest quality radiocasts in the country."

programs Mike and Mike in the Morning and Dan Patrick, 1050 ESPN Radio's locally originated lineup, under GM Tim McCarthy and Program Director Mike Thompson, features Max Kellerman (10 a.m.-noon), Stephen A. Smith (noon-2 p.m.), Michael Kay during afternoon drive (4-7 p.m.) and Brandon Tierney (7-10 p.m.).
