Meet the Rangers and Help Score a Goal Against Child Abuse and Neglect

On Wednesday, February 7th, the New York Rangers will team up with Family Dynamics in an effort to strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect. Join Honorary Chairman, Adam Graves, along with members of the 2000-2001 Rangers from 5:30PM - 8:30PM at Dezerland - located at 270 11th Avenue (between 27th and 28th Streets) for the charitable cause. This year’s event will include “Combat Stories” shared by team members, an autograph session with the players and fun-filled games including; batting cages, a carousel, miniature golf, bumper cars and more! Family Dynamics is a New York City not-for-profit agency dedicated to strengthening families and preventing child abuse and neglect. Family Dynamics provides a wide range of family support and youth development services through our Family Support Centers in Bedford Stuyvesant and Bushwick in Brooklyn, in lower Manhattan and also through satellite programs at Hostos Academy, an elementary school in Spanish Harlem and at Bayview Women’s Correctional Facility. Services include family counseling; parenting development classes utilizing FDI’s copyrighted curriculum; advocacy and referral services; a 24-hour crisis hotline; home visits; case management; academic enrichment; youth development; early childhood education; tutoring/mentoring for homeless youth; and public education.
