Game Notes: Rangers at Florida Panthers

Tonight's Game

The Rangers face-off against the Florida Panthers tonight at BankAtlantic Center (7:30 p.m.), in their first of four games in six days. The Blueshirts currently rank third in the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 30-20-5, and fifth in the Eastern Conference with 65 points. The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Capitals, 5-4, in the shootout on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden, and have earned a point in eight of their last 13 games (6-5-2). Following tonight's contest, the Rangers will return home to face-off against the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday, February 15, at Madison Square Garden (12:30 p.m.), in the first game of a back-to-back set. The Panthers, 27-19-8, currently rank seventh in the Eastern Conference standings with 62 points, and have won six of their last eight games.
