For Blueshirt Prospects, Camp Gets Underway in Calgary

by Staff Writer / New York Rangers

Following Sunday's medical testing, equipment fitting and a meeting, the Rangers opened their annual three-week Development Camp in Calgary, Alberta in which 40 Blueshirt prospects and junior free agents will participate in on and off-ice workouts as they prepare for their respective 2004-05 seasons.

The Camp will be led by Rangers Head Coach and VP of Player Development Tom Renney (right), who will be joined by Perry Pearn, Ryan McGill, Nick Fotiu and members of the Blueshirt strength and conditioning staff in an effort to provide the attending players with a solid training program and a vision of the Rangers' future.
