The Nashville Predators announced Wednesday that the team has agreed to a new broadcasting deal with WGFX 104.5-FM The Zone. The station was a Predators' flagship for the 2005-06 season and the new agreement will extend the affiliation for two additional seasons.
"We are thrilled to death to be partnering again with The Zone," Predators owner Craig Leipold said on the station's Sports Zone broadcast Wednesday afternoon. "It's a deal that's not just a radio deal, but we look at it as a partnership, as we have in the past."
A broadcast schedule for the 2006-07 season will be announced after the NHL schedule has been released.
