Preds AHL Affiliate Unveils New Uniforms

by Thomas Willis / Nashville Predators

Last week, Nashville Predators fans caught an up-close glimpse of the talent coming down the pipeline for the club during the Preds Development Camp. That talent, including players such as Juuse Saros, Pontus Aberg, Jonathan-Ismael Diaby and a good portion of the other skaters who participated in the week-long program, are likely to suit up for the Preds’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals, in 2015-16. When they do, they’ll be pulling on a new-look sweater for Milwaukee’s home opener on Friday, October 16.

On Wednesday, the Ads debuted new home and away uniforms, sporting a redesigned crest and additional logos. Chief among the fresh look for the AHL squad includes a shift to a navy blue as their primary color and a “M” and A” built out of the familiar sailor’s bones.

The Admirals will primarily wear the white version of their new sweater while at home at BMO Harris Bradley Center this coming season and the navy edition on the road. Milwaukee will keep their third jersey from previous seasons in their rotation, but with the black in the full-body logo changed to navy.

Be sure to check out the Admirals website or follow them on Twitter for more info or to buy tickets for the upcoming season.
