Milwaukee, WI – The American Hockey League announced today that Milwaukee Admirals center Cal O'Reilly has been named the Rbk/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending February 3, 2008. O'Reilly tallied one goal and five assists for six points to go with a plus-3 rating in two Admiral wins.

On Friday night, O'Reilly earned first-star honors in a 5-4 victory over Chicago, scoring the game-winning goal and recording two assists. On Saturday, he came back with three assists, including one on the winning goal, as the Admirals defeated Peoria 7-3 to earn their first win in four tries at the Carver Arena. They were the third and fourth three-point games of the season for O'Reilly, who has 13 points during his current six-game scoring streak.

A second-year pro and a 2005 draft choice by the Nashville Predators, O'Reilly leads Milwaukee in assists (36) and points (45) and ranks second on the team in plus/minus rating (+11) while appearing in all 47 games in 2007-08. The 21-year-old Toronto native is also tied for third in the AHL with four shorthanded goals. Last year, O'Reilly led all AHL rookies with 47 assists and was the Admirals' second-leading scorer with 65 points in 78 contests.

In recognition of his achievement, O'Reilly will be presented with an etched crystal award prior to an upcoming Admirals home game.

The Admirals have a pair of road games this week before hosting the Manitoba Moose on Friday, February 8th at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center.
