Predators playoff tickets on sale April 15

Nashville, Tenn. - Individual tickets for the first two Nashville Predators home games of their 2006 Western Conference Quarterfinal Playoff series will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, April 15 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gaylord Entertainment Center box office and all Ticketmaster outlets, via the internet at nashvillepredators.com or by calling 615-770-PUCK.  The Predators clinched a spot in the 2006 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs by a virtue of their 2-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks tonight.

Fans interested in purchasing tickets are invited to the Gaylord Entertainment Center on Saturday, April 15 to have breakfast with GNASH and the Puck Patrol, starting at 8:00 a.m.  Fans in line to purchase playoff tickets by 9:45 a.m. will be guaranteed tickets for one of the first two home games, and those who buy tickets at the GEC box office will not be charged a service fee on their purchase. 

Game dates and times and the Predators'  first-round opponent will be determined between now and the conclusion of the NHL regular season on Tuesday, April 18.  All Stanley Cup Playoff series are best of seven and played on a 2-2-1-1-1 format, and the first round of the 2006 NHL post-season will open the weekend of April 21. 

The three division winners in each conference will be seeded first through third, in order of points, for the playoffs and the next five best teams, in order of points, will be seeded fourth through eighth.  The team seeded No. 1 will play No. 8, No. 2 takes on No. 7, No. 3 meets No. 6 and No. 4 battles No. 5 in the Conference Quarterfinals.  If the Predators finish in fourth place in the Western Conference, the club will play Games 1 and 2, and if necessary, Games 5 and 7, at the Gaylord Entertainment Center.  If the club finishes in fifth place or lower in the Conference, Nashville's series will open on the road and the GEC will host Games 3, 4 and 6 (if necessary).

Tickets will be limited to six (6) per household, per game, and ticket prices start at $12.50 per ticket in the Upper Goal Zone.  Other section prices include: the Family Fun Zone ($19.00/ticket), Goal Zone ($22.50), Sideline Balcony ($36.50), Shoot Twice Mezzanine ($45.00), Shoot Once Club Seats ($56.50), Lower Bowl Endzone ($61.50), Lower Bowl Center ($74.00), Premium Lower Bowl ($86.50), Club Level ($94.00) and Bud Light Party Zone ($106.50).  

Predators season ticketholders have been given the opportunity to buy their regular-season seats for the entire 2006 post-season at 2005-06 season-ticket prices.  They will also have access to an exclusive pre-sale on Monday, April 10 for the Predators first two playoff games via the season ticketholder page of nashvillepredators.com.

Individual tickets for any additional first-round games will go on sale at a later date, and tickets for all future rounds of the 2006 Stanley Cup Playoffs will go on sale upon the completion of each round.

The Predators hosted their first three Stanley Cup Playoff games at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in April of 2004.  All three games sold out.

1) RANDOM NUMBERS WILL BE ISSUED UP UNTIL 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE DESIGNATED SALE TIME.  IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER RANDOM NUMBERS HAVE BEEN ISSUED, FILE IN BEHIND THOSE WITH RANDOM NUMBERS.

2) ONE RANDOM NUMBER PER CUSTOMER

3) YOU MUST BE 12 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND ABLE TO COMPLETE A TRANSACTION TO RECEIVE A RANDOM NUMBER.

4) THE STARTING NUMBER WILL BE ANNOUNCED IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE LAST RANDOM NUMBER IS HANDED OUT.

5) THE CUSTOMER HOLDING THE TICKET THAT MATCHES THE STARTING NUMBER DRAWN WILL BE THE FIRST IN LINE (i.e.  IF #'S 1-100 WERE ISSUED AND NUMBER 10 WAS DRAWN, THE LINE WOULD START WITH 10, THEN 11, 12, 13, THRU 100 THEN 1-9.)

6) LIMIT IS 6 TICKETS PER GAME PER CUSTOMER

THE NASHVILLE PREDATORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TICKET SERVICE TO ANYONE WHO DOES NOT ABIDE BY THE ABOVE TICKET POLICY OR THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF GAYLORD ENTERTAINMENT CENTER.
