Welcome to the new nashvillepredators.com. Your No. 1 source for Predators news and information has taken part in a league-wide initiative that will see all 30 NHL teams redesign and restructure their Web sites for improved usability. For Preds fans, that means a more streamlined layout, faster load times, and a renewed focus on delivering engaging team content to your computer screen.
"Nashvillepredators.com will still have all the familiar features, like our popular message boards, blogs, podcasts, photo galleries, and the fan poll, but visitors will notice a number of valuable additions as well," says Doug Brumley, Internet development manager for the Predators. "A cleaner layout, more video highlights, and a direct pipeline to league statistics, standings and notes are indicative of the improvements that will provide a more robust surfing experience at the official Predators Web site."
Once the season starts, fans will be able to access highlights from recent Predators games right from the front page of Nashvillepredators.com. They can also dig deeper to watch player-specific video clips and read up-to-the-minute player information straight from the official NHL game notes. In addition, the site will debut a number of RSS feeds, an increasingly popular technology that allows users to subscribe to specific types of content (game recaps, for example) and have that content delivered when it's fresh--without having to actively search for it.
For years, Nashvillepredators.com has strived to be a Predators fan's all-access pass to the team. Now, with a new look and a league-issued mandate to generate and publish even more exclusive and innovative content, the bar is being raised. So explore our new site, bookmark it, and make the Internet home of the Predators your first and last stop for Preds information during the 2007-08 NHL season.
