- First day on the ice comes Monday at Centennial Sportsplex -
Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville Predators Training Camp will open with off-ice testing and team meetings tomorrow, Jan. 13, at 9 a.m. at Bridgestone Arena with the team’s first day on the ice coming Monday, Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. at Centennial Sportsplex. A full schedule of team activities for the week leading up to the season opener against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday, Jan. 19 at Bridgestone Arena is below.
Media wishing to conduct interviews for the opening day of camp may do so starting around 10:30 a.m. outside the Predators Dressing Room. Media sessions for the remainder of the week will be held at approximately 12 p.m. – after both practice and meetings – inside the Predators facilities at Centennial Sportsplex. All practices at the Sportsplex are free and open to the public.
Twenty-three players will attend camp, with only one of them not under contract (goaltender Zoltan Hetenyi will be in camp on a professional tryout agreement), defenseman Scott Hannan, having not spent time on the Predators roster before.
