Milwaukee Opens AHL Playoffs vs. Rockford

Milwaukee, WI—The West Division Champion Milwaukee Admirals will face the Rockford IceHogs in the Calder Cup Playoffs’ West Division Semifinals beginning Thursday, April 16th at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center. This will be the first ever post-season meeting between the two clubs.

Following game one, the teams will hit the ice at the BC on Saturday, April 18th at 7:30 pm before the series switches to Rockford for games three and four on Sunday, April 19th at 5:05 pm and Tuesday, April 21st at 7:05 pm. If necessary, game five would take place back in Milwaukee on Friday, April 24th at 7:00 pm, followed by game six in Rockford on Sunday, April 16th at 5:05 pm with game seven set for Monday, April 27th at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center.

The Admirals finished the regular season with a 49-22-3-6 record and 107 points, which tied them for the most points in the AHL with the Manitoba Moose. Rockford ended their second season in the league in fourth place in the West Division with 86 points on a 40-34-0-6 record. The two teams squared off ten times during the regular season, with the Admirals posting a 6-3-0-1 record against the Hogs.
