Jones & Santorelli Returned to Milwaukee

by Staff Writer / Nashville Predators
Following Saturday night's game against Atlanta, the Predators reassigned forwards Ryan Jones and Mike Santorelli to the organization's AHL affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals. With just one game remaining before the Preds hit the NHL All-Star Break and a full compliment of healthy forwards, the team did not have a need to carry extra forwards on the roster.

After the Predators host New Jersey on Monday night, the team will be idle until January 28 when it opens a two-game road trip at Vancouver. Milwaukee plays Sunday (January 18) and then three times -- January 20, 23, and 24 -- before breaking for the AHL All-Star Game.

Jones, 24 (6/14/84), has eight points (4g-4a) in 21 games during three stints with Nashville this season. Santorelli, 23 (12/14/85), played six games in his first career recall, but failed to register a point. Santorelli, who was selected for the AHL All-Star Game, will also now be able to participate in the AHL's All-Star events on January 25-26.
