Fiddler, Nichol, Sullivan to Participate in Celebrity Bowling Charity Event

by Nashville Predators / Nashville Predators
On Thursday, May 14 Preds forwards Vernon Fiddler, Scott Nichol, and Steve Sullivan and Preds Radio play by play Tom Callahan will be on hand with several other celebrities to participate in News Channel 5 sportscaster Eric Yutzy's charity bowling event, Celebrities Strike Up a Cure. Fans may attend and watch for $15 or sign up a bowling team for $125/person and $500/team. Eric's goal is to raise $50,000; if Eric is successful, he will name a cancer research grant in honor of Chase Donnell, a young Predators fan who passed away from cancer last year.

This event is a unique opportunity to mingle with some stars and raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The event will be held at Hillwood Strike & Spare in Nashville, at the corner of Annex and Charlotte. VIP bowlers and celebrities start eating at 6 p.m. and bowling starts soon thereafter.

Teams of four bowlers are matched with a celebrity of their choice. Teams start at $500 ($125 per person) and the donation includes food, photos with the team's celebrity and more. The celebrities will be musicians, athletes, coaches and community leaders from around the area. All proceeds will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!!

To reserve a celebrity and a lane, contact Eric Yutzy: eyutzy@newschannel5.com or 248-5285. Teams and celebrities are first come, first served and space is limited.
