A third-round pick (No. 82) of the Los Angeles Kings in the 2011 NHL Draft, Shore is a defense-minded center with strong hockey sense and a knack for keeping the puck out of dangerous areas. Add to that Shore's ability to win faceoffs and his value comes into sharper focus.
The middle of three brothers who each played at the University of Denver and were drafted by NHL teams, Shore made his NHL debut on Jan. 17, 2015, against the Anaheim Ducks. He got his first NHL point four days later in his third NHL game, getting an assist on a Jeff Carter power-play goal in a 4-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks.
