Hossa did more than win a Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010. He also made history, becoming the first NHL player to appear in three straight Stanley Cup Finals with three different teams. Hossa lost in the Final in 2008 with the Pittsburgh Penguins and 2009 with the Detroit Red Wings.
Selected by the Ottawa Senators with the No. 12 pick in the 1997 NHL Draft, Hossa made his League debut Oct. 1, 1997, against the Montreal Canadiens. He had one assist in seven games and was assigned to Portland of the Western Hockey League, where he won the Jim Piggott Memorial Trophy as the league's top rookie and helped Portland win the 1998 Memorial Cup.
