Lukas Radil Bio

The native of Pardubice, Czech Republic, had never scored more than 10 goals in a season with any team before blossoming with 16 in 48 games for his hometown club in the Czech Extraliga in 2013-14. He signed with Spartak Moscow for the 2015-16 season and spent three seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League, finishing with 32, 33 and 39 points.

The 6-foot-4 forward agreed to a one-year contract with the San Jose Sharks on April 3, 2018. He started the 2018-19 season with San Jose of the American Hockey League but earned a call up from the Sharks after having 11 points (four goals, seven assists) in 15 games. Radil made his NHL debut against the Vancouver Canucks on Nov. 23, 2018 and scored his first goal with the Sharks against the Arizona Coyotes on Dec. 8. He finished his first NHL season with 11 points (seven goals, four assists) in 36 games.
