|1994-1995||New Jersey Devils|
MacLean's NHL career included three consecutive 40-goal seasons and winning the Stanley Cup with the New Jersey Devils in 1995. But the most memorable goal of his career involved neither of those.
The Devils selected MacLean, a forward from Oshawa, Ontario, in the first round (No. 6) of the 1983 NHL Draft, following their first season in New Jersey after moving from Colorado. He was in the NHL before the end of the 1983-84 season and went through growing pains along with his teammates until April 3, 1988, when his overtime goal in New Jersey's regular-season finale against the Chicago Blackhawks put the Devils into the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since relocating.
