The Pittsburgh Penguins welcome the Ottawa Senators to Mellon Arena on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. for the first time this season.

The Senators (34-12-4) are in first place in the Northeast Division with 72 points. They have the fourth-best power play (20.6 percent) and fifth-best penalty kill (84.8).
After not playing each other all season, the two teams meet two times in the Penguins’ next three games. Pittsburgh travels to Ottawa on Monday.
The Penguins (12-31-10) have lost three games in a row with Wednesday’s 3-1 setback in New York against the Rangers.
March Recchi extended his scoring streak to five games. He had an end-to-end power-play goal Wednesday night and now has five goals and four assists in his last five contests. However, rookies Sidney Crosby and Michel Ouellet saw their scoring streaks end at four games.
This contest marks the second in a stretch of seven games in 11 days before the Olympic break.
