The Penguins scratches for today's game are Mark Eaton, Eric Goddard and Philippe Boucher. The crowd gave a loud cheer when it was announced that Tyler Kennedy would be returning to the lineup this afternoon.

Every fan in attendance today received a blue rally towel courtesy of Trib Total Media.

The Pens have looked strong in the early part of the game, outshooting Florida 4-0, including a breakaway attempt by Pascal Dupuis.

The crowd in Mellon Arena is quiet, as they haven't had much to cheer so far today.  Pascal Dupuis took a hooking penalty at 18:19.

The crowd gave a big cheer as Brooks Orpik dished out a heavy check just as the period ended.

More groans from the Pens fans and Richard Zednik scores his 4th of the year at 11:24 of the 2nd period. Pittsburgh calls a timeout.

Max Talbot and Gregory Campell had a long fight, followed by Sidney Crosby going after Brett McClean. Sid earned himself 5:00 for fighting, 2:00 for instigating, 2:00 unsportsmanlike conduct and a 10:00 misconduct.

Nathan Horton scored his 2nd goal of the game on a long breakaway while the teams were playing 4 on 4.
