Penguins Wives Association’s 2011-12 Holiday Basket Auction

For the sixth season, the Pittsburgh Penguins Wives Association has created a special holiday project for charity. This season, the ladies will once again decorate and fill holiday gift baskets!

Each holiday basket is decorated and filled with items unique to each player or coach. Their baskets showcase the individual’s favorite things, hobbies, interests or hometown. While each gift basket differs in content and decoration, all baskets have a minimum monetary value of $100.00 and contain a Penguins mini-stick autographed by each player or coach.

All proceeds from the online auction will benefit the ALS Association, Western Pennsylvania Chapter. The ALS Association encourages scientific research to find a cure for ALS (a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord); heightens awareness of the disease; and supports patient and community services.

The auction will run from Friday, December 23 until noon on Friday, January 6, 2012. Once the auction concludes and purchasers have been processed through Pay Pal, the gift baskets will begin shipping within two (2) business days via ground.

Please take a moment to review your bid amount before submitting. Any errors in the amount are the responsibility of the bidder and any bid submit is considered binding by Pay Pal and the National Hockey League. Please note that you do not need a Pay Pal account to bid on a holiday gift basket, but you will be prompted to enter your credit card information before you are declared the winning bidder.

Thank you and “Happy Holidays” from the Pittsburgh Penguins Wives & Girlfriends!
