Penguins to Offer Fans More Than 30 Beverage Brands from Dr. Pepper Snapple Group at Consol Energy Center

Pittsburgh Penguins fans and other Consol Energy Center patrons will be able to select from more than 30 beverage brands from the Dr Pepper Snapple Group when Pittsburgh’s new arena opens this year.

 
Top-rated brands such as Dr Pepper, 7-Up, Hawaiian Punch, Sunkist Orange, A&W Root Beer, Canada Dry Ginger Ale, premium Snapple teas and juices, Venom energy drink and two types of bottled water – Fiji Water and Deja Blue – will be among the offerings, which will vary throughout the arena.
 
“We are proud to welcome Dr Pepper Snapple Group to Pittsburgh and to our team as the Official Soft Drinks and Water of the Pittsburgh Penguins,” said David Peart, Vice President of Business Partnerships for the Penguins. “We have been fortunate to already offer some Dr Pepper Snapple products at Mellon Arena, but this multi-year marketing agreement means our fans will now have access to a wide range of their dynamic brands throughout Consol Energy Center.”
 
With a brand heritage spanning more than 200 years, Dr Pepper Snapple Group offers hundreds of flavors of carbonated soft drinks, juices, teas, mixes, waters and other premium beverages. More than 75 percent of the company’s overall volume is from brands rated either no. 1 or no. 2 in their flavor categories.
