Penguins Set To Draft At No. 20

COLUMBUS, Ohio – D-Day is here for NHL clubs. 

And, the Pittsburgh Penguins hope to add to their overall organizational depth Friday and Saturday at the NHL Entry Draft at Nationwide Arena in Columbus. 

After drafting in the round’s top five the past five seasons, the Penguins own the 20th selection in this year’s draft. The player chosen will be the first in Penguins history to be selected 20th overall, following an impressive run that netted Jordan Staal, Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Marc-Andre Fleury and Ryan Whitney in the top five. 

Following is the list of the first Penguins draft choices by year, followed by overall pick number.
