The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Andrew Ebbett from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.
Defenseman Derrick Pouliot has been re-assigned to WBS.
Ebbett, 32, has split the season between Pittsburgh and WBS, notching six points (1G-5A) in 21 NHL games with Pittsburgh. He has four points (1G-3A) in his past eight NHL contests.
Ebbett is the WBS Penguins’ leading scorer (tied) this season with 15 goals, 23 assists and 38 points in 34 contests. His plus-18 leads team forwards.
Over his last 10 games with WBS, Ebbett has notched at least one point nine times, totaling six goals, seven assists and 13 points.
