by Staff Writer / Pittsburgh Penguins
The Penguins play their regular-season home opener Tuesday against the Florida Panthers at CONSOL Energy Center at a special 7:30 p.m. start time.

The game will be televised locally by ROOT SPORTS and to the rest of the nation by VERSUS.
Fans are asked to be in their seats at 7:20 p.m. for a pre-game ceremony and player introductions.
The Jack Adams Award, which is presented each year to the NHL’s ‘Most Outstanding Coach,’ will be on display in the concourse. Penguins coach Dan Bylsma became the first coach in team history to win the award last season.
