No. 1 Miami of Ohio to Take on Robert Morris in "Pittsburgh College Hockey Showcase" Jan. 8 at Mellon Arena

Top-rated Miami of Ohio will take on Robert Morris in the feature game of the 4th annual Pittsburgh College Hockey Showcase on Friday, Jan. 8 at Mellon Arena. Game time is 8 p.m.
The Red Hawks are currently 11-2-5 and ranked No. 1 in the country in the most recent USCHO.com Division 1 hockey poll. They were the 2009 NCAA runnersup. Robert Morris is 3-10-2 in NCAA Division 1 competition.
It will be a full day of college hockey at the arena, with the Robert Morris women’s team facing the University of Connecticut at 2 p.m., and the Robert Morris club hockey team taking on Penn State at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $12 for general admission and $17 for Igloo seats. The tickets, which may be used for all three games, are available through Ticketmaster, at the Mellon Arena Gate One box office or by calling 800.745.3000.
The inaugural Pittsburgh College Hockey Showcase was played at Mellon Arena in 2006, with Robert Morris facing off against Notre Dame. The Colonials hosted Ohio State in each of the past two seasons.
