Local Players Win Beanpot Tournament

Two Pittsburgh natives, Parker Milner and Patrick Wey, won their third consecutive Beanpot title on Monday at the TD Garden in Boston playing for the Boston College Eagles. Milner and Wey helped lead their team to an overtime victory against the No. 2 team in the nation – Boston University.

Sophomore forward, Bill Arnold scored the game winning goal in overtime to give the Eagles the win. Mt. Lebanon native, Parker Milner was in net for Boston College, stopping 32 shots. In route to the championship game the Eagles beat Northeastern 7-1.

Boston College is currently ranked number 4 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.
